Nacra Inter 18 Jib 4.15 sq m - Kangaroo Sails

The Nacra Inter 18 jib from Kangaroo Sails has a sail area of 4.15 m² and can be supplied measured on request. Racers choose the Hightech cut for the Formula 18 course, club and leisure sailors the Beach or Easy cut. Cloth, colour, battens and window are put together to match.

Cuts

• Hightech for racing: radial cut with 3 panels from the head, 6 from the clew and 1 from the tack. More panels mean an even better match to the loads and a more finely adjustable profile. Reinforcements cut radially and fully bonded.
• Beach for leisure and club racing: radial cut with 2 panels from the head and 6 from the tack and clew. The cloth follows the loads in the sail and there are only a few seams. Radial reinforcements.
• Easy for leisure sailing: durable white Dacron, panels at right angles to the leech. Few seams that can fail, an economical build, flat and horizontal reinforcements.

Cloths

• Pentex in black, smoke, white or silver: three-layer laminate for racing and cruising – Pentex fibre core for high strength and shape stability at low weight, Mylar film outside, bonded under pressure.
• Mylar in smoke, blue, white, green or red: built like Pentex, with polyester fibres.
• White Dacron: woven polyester cloth, easy to handle and durable.
