The Harken extra-wide shackle is a forged stainless steel shackle with an especially wide opening. Harken calls it a large open shackle: similar in shape to a D shackle but proportionally wider for its length. Harken also uses these shackles on its blocks and offers them separately. Available in 5 mm and 8 mm.
