The Ronstan Shock (SHeaveless blOCK) is an ultralight, compact alternative to a block. Designed specifically for thin lines, it is simply lashed on with a Dyneema® loop, a thin lashing or webbing up to 8 mm wide. Originally invented for kiteboarding control lines, it is suitable almost anywhere on a dinghy where a line needs a light change of direction.
