The Ronstan swivel cleat (Ronstan Swiveling Cleat Unit RF5) combines a swivelling base with a 28 mm ball bearing sheave, a small cleat and a fairlead. The cleat lines up with the direction of pull, so lines from 2 mm to 8 mm can be cleated and released from any angle. Ronstan designed it mainly for dinghy and catamaran spars, for halyard, cunningham or outhaul control.
