57mm Harken Carbo Ratchamatic Single Block

The Harken 57 mm Carbo Ratchamatic is a load-sensing ratchet block: at light load it spins freely in both directions, and as load increases the ratchet engages automatically. The transition is clean and seamless – unloaded sheets run out freely at mark roundings, and asymmetric spinnakers get the holding power of a ratchet yet release instantly for the gybe.
