The Optimum Timer is a sailing watch built for race starts. The large 16 mm digits are easy to read on the move, and it can be worn on the wrist, over a sleeve or on the supplied boom/mast bracket.

Features

  • 65 mm ABS case
  • 38 x 20 mm single-row display, 16 mm digit height
  • Adjustable viewing angle
  • Boom/mast mount bracket supplied
  • Elasticated strap for wrist or over-sleeve wear
  • Water resistant to 5 ATM, shock-resistant construction
  • Normal timekeeping mode (12 or 24 hour)

Race functions

  • Repeating countdown, or countdown then count-up to show elapsed time for handicap races
  • ISAF 5-4-1-0 start sequence pre-programmed, with audible warnings (can be silenced)
  • 5 minute, 3 minute and multiple-of-1-minute programmes
  • Sync button for instant synchronisation if a gun is missed

Available in blue, black and yellow.
