Harken Carbo Ratchamatic HTE 57mm

The Harken Carbo Ratchamatic HTE 57 mm is a load-sensing ratchet block: at light load it runs freely in both directions, and as load builds the ratchet engages automatically. The HTE (high-threshold engage) version has a stiffer spring, so the block stays free-running for longer and the ratchet only engages at higher load.
